Point your cameras towards the sun, to help us shine a light on our city.
City Shine is a community-wide art project, using photos of the setting sun. Participants are asked to submit images captured every evening during the month of August. All photos will be used to make a large scale video projection by local artist C. Jacqueline Wood, premiering in October during the FotoFocus event. City Shine is a collaborative project created with the help of ArtWorks apprentices and local filmmaker Kailah Ware. We hope to unite the community by telling the visual story of our city from multiple perspectives.
